Job Summary
The Product Manager is a strategic role within the B2B Managed Services organization. This role analyzes product-oriented market opportunities, formulates plans that evaluate those opportunities, and then creates plans that guide the subsequent budgeting, development, operational support, training and marketing efforts. The Product Manager also has domain expertise, from a technical perspective.
The Product Manager owns the strategy and future of each product in order to provide a long-term, sustainable, and profitable business. The Product Manager also contributes to the strategic direction of the associated product portfolio. In this role, you will influence company strategic direction by sharing market and customer insights, competitive knowledge and domain expertise so that we deliver an effective product/market fit; the right product delivered at the right time to the right customer.
As Product Manager, you will guide other organizational teams to insure product success. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to researching and developing new products. You will build products from existing ideas and help to develop new products based on your industry experience and contact with customers, suppliers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy, as well as a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality. You must enjoy spending time in the market to understand problems and find innovative solutions. You must be able to effectively communicate with all areas of the company, and you will also serve as the internal and external champion for your product offering, working with the sales channels, operational support, partners/vendors, financial support and key customers.
Responsibilities
Altice USA is a large company that adopts a start-up culture when focused on new product development, and we are looking for a Product Manager who is ready for a challenge to be part of an expanding category of new products.
This position has a lead role in the total success of B2B (business to business) data product for both Small Business and Mid-market, Enterprise, and Carriers segments. Inclusive of this responsibility are:
- Own the P/L of the product and responsibility for its success
- Managing the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing engagement with vendors, customers and marketing teams
- Driving a solution set across development teams (i.e. Development/Engineering, operations, Marketing) through product requirements, product differentiation, and positioning
- Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan, driving operational readiness, and working with all departments to execute it
- Analyzing potential partner relationships for a product
- Understand the market needs from a new technology perspective and how it impacts the product portfolio
- Become an expert in an industry through curiosity, drive, and experimentation
- Ability to communicate effectively with teammates, customers and suppliers so that you serve as the resident expert in decisions made regarding current and future products

Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with 3-5 years of product management experience, preferably at a technology company
- Experience as owner of a Business-to-Business product, managing and launching successful products into the market, preferably data services
- Experience with Broadband or internet access products and services specifically; solid understanding of broadband access, Wi-Fi and Mobile wireless technologies, IoT and cyber security
- Can demonstrate clear understanding of the entire product lifecycle process and critical stages of development
- Exceptional interpersonal/people skills including verbal, written, listening and presentation skills
- Knowledgeable across many functional areas, including product management, marketing, business development, procurement, financial planning, engineering, operations and support
- Ability to effectively collaborate across teams, and lead without structured authority
- Ability to manage operating expenses against established budgets
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail
- Knowledge of current and successful marketing trends with ability to creatively identify new opportunities for profitable products
- Results and action-oriented, with the ability to translate results into proactive measures
- Strong understanding of product and market business fundamentals (i.e. share gains, profitability, addressable market)
- Exhibits confidence and a positive attitude, highly diplomatic yet assertive, demonstrating passion for the product and inspiring others
- College or university degree, preferably in science or engineering

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $115,224.00 – $184,358.00 / year.
