Product Data Management Specialist

Warner Robbins, GA

Contract Position

$48.07-$60.07/Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Define, document and interpret product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Develop, document and implement plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Track and report data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Assist with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Work general direction
  • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Perform Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) for new designs demonstrating adherence to and compliance with drawing structure. Knowledge of P/N configuration control (rules of interchangeability).
  • Update and maintain desktop instructions and associated command media.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree combined with 3 + years of relevant work experience in a related discpline; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Engineering Processes
    • Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics). Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
  • Engr Knowledge/Comprehension
    • Knowledge of various engineering disciplines such as electrical, mechanical, and systems.
    • The ability to communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
  • Information Technology Fluency
    • Ability to utilize technological tools (e.g., PC’s, web sites) and business system applications to manage, synthesize, and interpret data relevant to workloads, responsibilities, problem identifications and resolutions.
    • Ability to operate relevant personal computing hardware (e.g., personal computers, software, printers, storage media) and standard software (e.g., word processing, graphics packages, spreadsheets/databases).
  • Systems Thinking
    • Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area.
    • This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
  • Well organized, a self-starter, with an eye for continuous improvement.
