Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a Product Data Management Specialist to join our Equipment & Tool Engineering team in Auburn, WA. A successful candidate in this role will have a high attention to detail and a steadfast desire for engineering product lifecycle management. In this role, you will be responsible for configuration and data management in support of engineering drawing creation, modification and releases.

Our Teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate, Mid-Level, and Experienced Product Data Management Specialists.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Assists with activities to identify and document product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes.
  • Assists with plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control.
  • Supports the monitoring of adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; assists with audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements.
  • Supports certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes.
  • Works general supervision.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience) :

  • 1 or more years of experience working with a geographically dispersed cross-functional and matrix team.
  • 1 or more years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • 1 or more years of work experience in the aerospace industry.
  • 1 or more years of experience reading engineering drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 or more years of e xperience handling product definition data requirements, processes, or product data.
  • 1 or more years of e xperience using any of the following systems: Enovia, REDARS, PSDS, CDS, MES, DELMIA, GOLDesp, WIRS, CAPP, IVT, NCM or OWI.
  • 1 or more years of experience in design release processes, policies and procedures, handling tooling issues, and supplier led changes.

Typical Educations and Experience:

  • Associate (level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years’ related work experience, etc.).
  • Mid Level (level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years’ related work experience, 5 years’ related work experience, etc.).
  • Senior (level 4): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+4 years’ related work experience, 8 years’ related work experience, etc.)

Relocation:

  • This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range (Level 2): $68,000 – $92,000

Summary pay range (Level 3): $85,000- $115,000

Summary pay range (Level 4): $107,950 – $146,050
