SUMMARY
Incumbents prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQus), Invitation for Bids (IFBs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate contractors and proposals for more complex services and commodity purchases. Incumbents perform contract administration and compliance reviews including the posting of performance bonds. Incumbents coordinate work and approvals with other City Departments.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s Degree in related field and five years experience in procurement, including three years experience in administering professional services contracts; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
