Meet the team:

The process engineering team is responsible for bridging the gap between our production and equipment teams. In this role you are responsible for helping maintain yields and collaborating between departments to help ensure we can deliver a quality product to our users. The process team in Mesa is a tight knit group who enjoy collaborating at work but also finding time outside of work to celebrate our successes. Our facility is in Mesa, Arizona which is centralized to the great Phoenix metro area which makes for great accessibility.

Where you come in:

  • You will demonstrate hands-on process understanding and provide guidance and training with plant operators on engineering level builds.
  • You perform statistically robust and industry standard analysis of data, and present findings to technical teams.
  • You will assemble and analyze pareto charts for yield failure modes and creates and drives action plans to address yield loss.
  • You will Implement, characterize, and optimize processes, mechanical tests, and fixtures/jigs for assembly, inspection, and test through implementation of measurement systems, part inspections, MSA, and capability analysis.
  • You will develop, validate and implement improvements to increase throughput and improve manufacturing yields.
  • You will apply lean manufacturing techniques and concepts to assembly line processes to improve efficiencies, throughput and quality.

  • You will need the ability to run self-directed projects, maintain timelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-paced environment
  • You will need the ability to deal with ambiguity/uncertainty and a willingness to try new/challenging things.
  • You will need to be familiar with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments.
  • Recommended, Medical device experience
  • Recommended, JMP or Minitab experience
  • Recommended. Lean Six Sigma or Six Sigma DMAIC methodology

  • 5-15%

Exempt Salary Details:

The annual base salary range for this role is $61,900 to $103,100. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.

Experience and Education

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 0-2 years related experience.
