We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Lead Technical Product Manager to join the READI (Resilience, Availability & Demand insights) team in Prime Video and take ownership of resilience and scaling efficiency aspects for all of Prime Video. You will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies that enable our organization to deliver highly resilient, scalable, and efficient solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to define and prioritize product features, set the product roadmap, and ensure successful product delivery.
A day in the life
You will own the short and long term strategy and plan to make Prime Video even more reliable for customers. In that capacity, you will directly own goals with visibility throughout (and beyond) Prime Video. You will own the execution of initiatives to meet those goals, including communication to senior leadership and stakeholders. You will work with teams across Prime Video and throughout Amazon to influence organizational roadmaps and strategy.
About the team
The Prime Video READI (Resilience, Efficiency, Availability, and Demand Insights) team make all Prime Video systems more available and efficient. We are a fast-growing and diverse team of Software Development Engineers, Data Scientists, and Technical Program Managers distributed across the US, UK and Canada. We work on hard, industry-scale problems, re-inventing approaches to high-availability, observability, scalability and large-scale data modeling.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
– 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience
– 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
– Bachelor’s degree
– Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
– Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
– Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
– Experience technical product management
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
– Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
– Knowledge and experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
