Amazon Ads Publisher Technologies is pioneering new experiences for Ad Publishers – both Amazon first party (e.g. Prime Video, FireTV, Twitch, etc), and third party – as they build new advertising experiences for their customers. We are looking for a motivated and experienced Principal Product Management – Technical for our publisher creative management product. Our scope will grow substantially and we are looking for a strong leader to build best in class publisher experiences, and deliver a scalable system that will delight customers worldwide.
This is a highly visible position with significant impact and growth. You will lead across engineering, science, marketing, sales, operations, finance, and legal. You will be responsible for defining a new vision for publishers reporting across web, app, video, audio, and out of home. You will be required to invent new solutions in the context of a rapidly changing industry. You will be responsible for partnering closely with engineering to set priorities and make tradeoffs for your products. You will be responsible for the day to day operations of your business including revenue, customer concerns, and long term success.

About the team
The PubTech (Publisher Technologies) team builds and operates extensible services that empower publishers (1p and 3p) to improve the monetization of their customer experiences, along with the experiences themselves. We bias toward standards-based and flexible designs that allow publishers the ability to invent on top of our solutions and to interoperate well with other advertising technology providers; both internal and external.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience with Supply Side Technologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
