Harbor Tour and Whale Watching Manager

Salary: $25 per hour

City Experiences is seeking a Harbor Tour and Whale Watching Manager for our City Cruises operation in San Diego.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

The Harbor Tour & Whale Watch Manager will oversee the daily operations of the snack bar, including scheduling, ordering, training of new crew, and quality control for the San Diego Public tours. They will also assist with creating/maintaining food and beverage programs, as well as merchandise sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily product ordering and delivery to yachts from the Commissary
  • Manage bar organization and cleanliness
  • Ensure quality control with proper rotation and ordering
  • Maximize revenue per guest with creative sales approach
  • Reduce labor and product expenses
  • Improve on board quality scores
  • Enforce current policies and procedures
  • Communicate any crew issues back to F&B management
  • Assist management in creating and implementing new F&B programs
  • Create specialty drinks and food items based on demand from guests
  • Train new HT/WW bartenders as needed
  • Oversee merchandise acquisition, display, and sales
  • Oversee inventory control systems
  • Work with AGM to improve overall guest experience
  • Assist with scheduling, hiring, coaching, and crew review with input from Associate Director of F&B
  • Promote RESPECT values and principles
  • Additional job duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months bartending experience
  • Previous supervisory role preferred
