This is a Remote position.

As the Pricing Strategy Manager, you support our North America Commercial HVAC business by building, leading, and managing a pipeline of pricing and other margin expansion projects with the product and sales organizations. They will conduct analyses using standard tools and processes to drive margin expansion while helping achieve other strategic priorities for the business.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate, prioritize, and drive strategic pricing projects and other margin expansion opportunities with product management and sales.
  • Participate in driving Trane’s overall revenue and margin growth strategy.
  • Key contributor in defining and developing value-based pricing strategies and tactics to provide the right balance for Trane’s price, volume and share plans.
  • Identify and implement price management strategies for the broader pricing organization.
  • Identify and understand segmentation strategies (product, market, geographical, motivation, customer type).
  • Improve on existing metrics and measurements of price realization of Trane equipment/systems.
  • Complete price and margin expansion forecasts and reports.
  • Develop/Enhance standard reports and complete ad-hoc analysis as needed.

What we expect of you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance or Data Science with at least 8+ years of relevant experience. MBA is preferred.
  • A track record of delivering results thru collaboration with others.
  • Committed to Trane Technologies vision of climate leadership.

Ideally, you would also be familiar with one or more of the following

  • Highly collaborative with strong networking skills
  • Effective at problem-solving with advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Able to communicate complex topics in a simple way to senior leaders and cross functional team members.
  • Self-starter, data-driven and capable of managing several projects at a time.
  • Proficient with Excel, Oracle Business Intelligence, Tableau and Alteryx.
  • SQL experience preferred.

Base Compensation Range is $75,000 to $165,000
