Pre-Litigation Attorney

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a highly motivated Pre Litigation Attorney to join their rapidly expanding personal injury practice. This position requires a proactive and focused individual with the capacity to handle a substantial caseload of personal injury cases across Ohio while thriving in a dynamic and professional setting.
The role is onsite in Cleveland, Akron, or Columbus.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence related to case facts and damages.
- Skillfully negotiate all aspects of case settlements, including the resolution of liens when applicable.
- Foster effective communication and maintain positive relationships with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
- Collaborate with teams to achieve the firm’s objectives.
- Provide supervision and guidance to support staff.
Requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio.
- Ideally, possess 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice.
- Previous experience in insurance defense and/or claims handling is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with Needles case management software is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, superior communication abilities, and effective presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- This position is office-based, with a Monday-to-Friday schedule.
