Electric Monster is a rapidly growing content creation studio founded in March of ’21 that acquires and grows digital video brands in the general entertainment space. The team at Electric Monster is a diverse mix of ambitious digital video veterans and people looking to make their mark on our industry. As we continue to grow, we are in search of a Post-Production Coordinator to join our talented team and help shape the future of digital content.
Position Summary
The Post-Production Coordinator will be an essential member of our Post team and will support the Post-Producer and other Coordinators in coordinating all aspects of our post-production workflow for all of our shows and properties. This role involves a range of responsibilities, from on-boarding & booking editors, processing contractor invoices, tracking all post related documents, and assisting the Post Producer with scheduling & tracking assignments. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is eager to learn, can work both independently and collaboratively, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
This position is full-time, Hybrid, and reports directly into the Post-Producer. Majority of our productions are executed in our studios located in Burbank, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and organize post-production assets, whether located on servers, Frame, or G-drive.
- Provide and track all on-boarding documents for contractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for editors, addressing their questions and providing necessary support.
- Assist Post-Producer in managing edits:
– Schedule and assign edits to editors
– Identify post needs and hire/onboard freelance editors
– Ask for status updates on all edits and provide producers with delivery timeline
- Conduct daily check-ins with editors to ensure they are working on the correct projects and assist with making necessary scheduling adjustments as release dates change.
- Assist with managing all post related accounts, such as Adobe, Frame, AudioHero, etc.Assist in managing server and archiving files as needed.
- Generate exports via Adobe CC (such as textless versions) as needed.
- Assist Post-Producer with maintaining style guides, edit guides, and show bibles.
- Receive, organize, and track all incoming invoices related to post-production.
- Ensure that all necessary graphics and templates required by editors for specific platforms are accessible and properly organized.
- Offer support and assistance to Post Producer, other Post-Coordinators, Technical Director, and Director of Production in various post-production related tasks.
- Uphold Electric Monster’s ethics and values while performing duties.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 2+ year(s) experience working in post-production.
- Proficient in Adobe CC, and Google Workplace/Suite.
- Can easily pick up on project management software utilized by the team e.g. Airtable, Monday, etc
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with team members and contractors.
- Exceptional attention to detail, administrative skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding time management skills, including the capacity to prioritize and multitask effectively.
- Ability to work with Editors across different timezones, both domestically and internationally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- While not required, digital media experience preferred.

Base Salary: $58,000 – $62,000 DOE
