STARTING DATE: Fall 2022
SALARY: $30.00/Hour
JOB OBJECTIVE:
Auburn Career Center is currently seeking a part time day nursing instructor in our Adult Workforce Education Practical Nursing program. The successful candidate must have proven high education experience in critical thinking, problem solving and judgement skills, demonstrate creative leadership practices, and possess excellent management skills with a collaborative attitude. Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Oversees assigned students’ activity in hospital or clinical settings. Instructs students in laboratory procedures & classroom instructional experience. Serves on the Practical Nursing advisory committee. Manage an effective classroom & enforce all handbook rules.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) years of recent clinical experience
- Hold a BSN or MSN Nursing Degree preferred
- Current BCLS certification and Registered Nurse certification with current active Ohio license required
- Active Ohio RN license without restrictions required
- Access to transportation allowing travel to multi-site locations required
- Ability to obtain valid Ohio Department of Education Adult Education Permit as a Nursing Instructor
- Perform other duties as assigned
