We are onboarding new employees using a hybrid approach. The Department supports flexible work arrangements. Description of Job
What you’ll be doing

  • Assist ADA Compliance Officer with management of existing purchase orders required for Department compliance with effective communication requirements.
  • Assist ADA Compliance Officer with Auxiliary Aids and Services and Language Access Requests.
  • Technical support to ADA Compliance Officer to monitor and maintain nondiscrimination email inbox and voicemail. This requires analysis of the subject matter of the contact to draft an interim response or if appropriate, forward or refer to the correct contact.
  • Review Legal mail folders for nondiscrimination related submissions.
  • Scan paper files to convert all existing nondiscrimination documents to electronic storage.
  • Assist ADA Compliance Officer with research related to Discrimination Complaints or Reasonable Modification Requests received from members and federal and state enforcement authorities.
  • Assist ADA Compliance Officer in developing a database to track all nondiscrimination requests.
  • Verify staff completion of required Department Nondiscrimination Compliance Training and maintain training records, including rosters and input into the Cornerstone LMS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

Four years of experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position.

Substitutions:
Appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Prior state experience related to the duties of this position
