Description
We are looking for Payroll and Benefits Specialist to help us manage and oversee our payroll and benefits programs. You will be responsible for the tactical and operational management of all our payroll and benefits, and work closely with the finance and HR teams to help Call Box grow by attracting and retaining the best people.
You will report to our Senior Manager, Accounting and HR and will be expected to work with all levels of our company.
Job Responsibilities
• Managing payroll end-to-end, including processing semi-monthly payroll runs and all journal entries.
• Managing benefit enrollments and employee benefit related inquiries.
• Ensure that compensation and benefit policies are up to date.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with all relevant legislation.
• Oversee the 401K audits and workers compensation audits and manage all related questions.
• Support the HR team with recruiting and talent management activities.
• Manage all onboarding / exit paperwork and immigration paperwork / applications.
• You will also be the primary point of contact for our HR system (Paylocity).
Requirements
What you will need:
• Bachelor’s degree in Payroll, HR, Accounting, or Finance
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a payroll and benefits payroll position
• Expert knowledge of common payroll systems
• Expertise in common HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
• In-depth understanding of all relevant legislation
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Salary Description
$60,000-$70,000
