General Description of Position:
Administer various types of academic and placement testing and pre-employment and skills assessments to corporate individuals, as well as certification exams to qualified candidates. Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all testing center policies, procedures, materials, and available assessments and certifications offered. Assist manager in training, scheduling, as well as any duties and tasks relating to assessment and certification as assigned.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide certification, assessment, and distance education exam administration according to designated proctor policies and procedures.
Assist in occasional off-site testing as directed by manager.
Complete all required high stakes exam proctor training and stay current with exam protocol changes.
Assist manager in training testing center staff.
Provide limited hardware and software troubleshooting, including calls to testing company technical support services when problems arise.
Maintain accurate records of all assessment services provided and supply this information to appropriate college offices on a timely basis.
Adjust testing procedures for individuals according to documentation by the Special Needs Counselor prior to testing sessions.
Assist with organizing and scheduling center activity.
Respond to customer queries.
Develop a thorough knowledge of testing center exams, materials, activities, policies, and procedures.
Promote, demonstrate, and maintain a professional manner and appearance.
Assist in keeping the assessment and certification centers organized, clean, supplied, and well maintained.

Preferred Qualifications:
21 years of age
Associate degree or some higher education
Two or more years of customer service experience
Experience with assessment and adult learners, a diverse population, and adults with disabilities.
