What to Expect: Devereux/TCV is currently seeking a dedicated and responsible person to fill our Licensed or License Eligible Outpatient Therapist role in Homestead and Braddock, PA.
We are looking for people who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. Our offices are in Homestead and Braddock, PA. The Licensed/Licensed Eligible Outpatient Therapist position is designed to:
- Interview clients to obtain information concerning social history, treatment, and other pertinent information.
- Plan and administer therapeutic treatment, behavior modification, and stress management therapy to assist clients in developing/displaying appropriate behaviors.
- Provide trauma informed care and regularly evaluate for behavioral health risks.
- Review results of psychological evaluations and evaluations from community providers to assess client needs.
- Change method and degree of therapy when indicated by client reactions and needs.
- Discuss progress toward goals and objectives, such as medication regimen, family relationships, educational programs, social development, discharge plans or other behavioral problems, with clients.
- Responsible for carrying a clinical caseload, either online via secured HIPPA Compliant Telehealth platform or face to face at our organization, while maintaining required productivity level as detailed by the Clinical Director.
- Typically, a full time position is expected to bill 25 units per week, a part time is expected to bill 20 units.
- Exceeding expectations will be rewarded with incentives, as approved by the Clinical director.
- Consult external and external community providers concerning treatment plans and for coordination of care, as required.
- Refer clients to other services to supplement treatment and counseling, as needed.

Position Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling.
- Pennsylvania LPC,LCSW,or LSW eligible.Professional license MUST be obtained within 24 months of employment.
- Current Pennsylvania LPC or LSW preferred.
- At least six (6) months experience providing psychotherapy for adults and/or children.
- Experience working with an electronic health record, preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of mental health experience required.
- TCV/Devereux requires all individuals interviewing for a position involving contact with children to complete The Diana Screen, a screening that assesses a candidates understanding of appropriate boundaries between adults and children.
