Overview
Receives, reviews, and processes supply orders and catalog orders for internal and external clients through the order entry system. Receives, reviews, and processes safety manual orders utilizing the safety loss database. Provides customer service to internal clients related to order status, delivery information, and specifics for inventory items. Is the liaison between the Training and Development Center, Enterprise Print and Fulfillment Center, and Distribution. Supports and leads the team in supervisor’s absence. Provides second level support within Order Management.
Responsibilities
- Receives and processes orders from internal and external clients in a timely basis.
- Post telecheck, credit card and check payments for Direct Marketing orders.
- Reviews and edits Order Entry orders for errors, discrepancies, and excessive quantities prior to processing.
- Prints and audits picking tickets for the distribution center prior to order fulfillment.
- Maintains a high degree of knowledge regarding products and services provided by Order Management and Distribution along with internal department contacts for various pieces.
- Monitors and releases back orders in conjunction with the Distribution Supervisor and posts payments accordingly.
- Produces Safety Training Certificates, Forklift Licenses, and Safety Manuals for the Safety & Loss group.
- Administers and maintains databases for OE Web and Order Entry.
- Monitors and modifies the Prebill Report as needed, based on account code and flexfield changes.
- Maintains a high degree of knowledge regarding of the integrated systems utilized by Order Management and Distribution.
- Assists with the coordination of daily work / product flow and offers suggestions to improve workflow.
- Provides second level support researching and responding to complex inquires and provides feedback to alleviate future issues.
- Maintains and monitors the inventory items utilized by the Training and Development Center. Facilitates orders and work with Enterprise Print and Fulfillment Center to ensure timely delivery.
- Assists with departmental training.
- Recommends enhancements to existing processes or procedures and assists with maintaining departmental procedures.
- Participates in special projects.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred
- 8:00 AM to 5:00PM EST
Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $14.67-$23.06 hourly. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range
