(OPS) Research Assistant
Job Description:
- Study management:
- Obtain informed consent and explain enrollment information to research participants.
- Perform phone screening and documentation, data entry and IRB related clerical duties.
- Travel to study sites to conduct recruitment
- Update participant tracking logs as needed
- Conduct engagement and recruitment in-person and through the Consent2Share program
- Engage with clinical staff at UF Health Clinics
- Perform participant recruitment and outreach as needed
- Ensure that the study documents are properly organized, and manage study data
- Other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:
$18 hourly
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
General computer skills including competence with Microsoft Word and Excel; Ability to quickly and accurately enter structured data into a database form; Ability to communicate clearly in person and on the phone; Ability to work as part of a team.
