Volt is immediately hiring for an Operating Systems Analyst in San Jose, CA.
As an Operating Systems Analyst, you will:
- Provide full lifecycle support for cloud infrastructure (GCP and Azure preferred) as well as VMware cloud infrastructure
- Plan, Design, install, monitor and maintain security for cloud infrastructure
- Maintain operational policies and procedures for all technology projects
- Development and overall documentation for cloud services
- Coordinate software purchases to ensure all implementations can meet hardware specifications
- Coordinate networking hardware installation, system administration and operation support
- Ensure backup, restore and disaster recovery for enterprise applications are managed
- Working Knowledge/ Administration of Linux (RHEL is preferred) as well as Windows
- Skills with Active Directory, Exchange, VMware, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Subnets and Load Balancers for projects will be utilized
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Linux and Windows Administration
- A minimum of seven years in computer industry with Server and Network background
- Experience with VMware, vSphere and server virtualization
- Experience with server administration for enterprise Windows and/or Linux environment
- Candidates should have experience managing 300+ systems
- Network topologies as well as security
- Experience with Hybrid Cloud deployment
- Experience with Cloud migration
Pay Rate: $105,000 – $115,000 per year
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
