What this position entails
At IntelliScript, customization is the name of the game – so no two days are ever truly alike. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for representing a successful, well-respected company occupying a niche in the market. We’re looking to this person to help identify opportunities and methodologies to position IntelliScript as a thought leader. You’ll have the opportunity to create cross-functional partnerships with IntelliScript departments.
What you’ll be doing
Conference and tradeshow coordination and growth – IntelliScript attends, sponsors, presents, and/or exhibits at 125+ industry events each year.
- Help strategize and coordinate our critical presence at industry events for supporting sales, client relationships, and business development
- Start-to-finish proactive involvement with all event and sponsorship needs, including applications, vendor and conference organization relations, promotional items and marketing collateral, exhibit arrangements, speaker support, onsite logistics, social media engagement, etc.
- Maintain database of events and communicate opportunities and details to internal teams.
- Research potential future events and recommend process improvements
- Travel as needed to larger/more involved events which may require a marketing presence (generally one per quarter)
B2B branding and marketing: Individual contributor on a marketing team that works to differentiate in our space, grow and defend our brand dominance, and enter new markets.
- Support the creation, maintenance, and distribution of brand-aligned marketing material for our team, website, and other marketing platforms.
- Help build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through content, advertising, social media, events, webinars, etc.
- Promote brand awareness through marketing efforts
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate marketing efforts
- Support initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (SEO research, campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies
Other duties as assigned - Support and promote IntelliScript webinars
What we need
- 1+ years professional experience, with some or most in the tradeshows/conference scene
- Event coordination, logistics, and expense reporting experience
- Editing, budgeting, and proofreading skills
- Experience maintaining information repositories in a team setting

Wish List
- Completed degree or continued education
- Experience with JIRA or other project management tools
- Exposure to Confluence or other corporate wiki platforms
- Basic understanding of reporting logic, marketing analytics, email campaign analysis
- Experience using MS Office: Excel, Outlook, Teams; Adobe Acrobat, contract document tools, Concur, Survey Monkey, SharePoint
- Logistics/warehousing experience for event services, material handling experience, shipping expertise, packing.
- Social media proficiency, especially LinkedIn
- Contact Management System experience (Salesforce, etc.)
- Past experience with insurance and/or software industry
Location
Our strong preference is for applicants who are able to work at the Brookfield, WI office, but remote applicants will be considered.
The salary range is $45,000 to $70,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, skills, certifications, and location. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
