The Salary Range for this position, based on experience, is between $75-$86K.
Amber Specialty Pharmacy is excited to assist Hy-Vee Health expand its presence into infusion. We are working with our parent company Hy-Vee Corporation and its growth with Hy-Vee Health. Amber is supporting the opening of our second infusion site in Chicago. We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to help with the launch of the new service for patients in Chicago.
The Infusion Office Manager oversees the completion of various administrative tasks within the infusion suite. Their main duties include managing patient records, handling payrolls related administrative functions, billings, prochant, collections, prior authorizations and hiring and training administrative personnel.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Scheduling patients for services
- Working with physician’s office, post-hospital case managers, and others to ensure patients orders are properly executed and entered into systems.
- Working with internal IT to ensure systems and network is operating appropriately
- Weekly meetings with billing vendors
- Ensures daily operating expenses for the site are tracked, recorded and submitted timely and accurately for the approval of the Hy-Vee Health Group Vice President.
- Assist Human Resources with on-boarding and all related activities, such as required postings, signage, paperwork, and concerns
- Ensure clinical areas remain clean and professional for assurance all patient and family members.
- Provide accurate, friendly quality service to customers/clients when processing customer/client transactions
- Enter patient referral info into EHR system and pass off to ARNP for clinical review
- Oversees billing process, works with billing vendor for payer billing and vendor for patient billing
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures including timely reporting of accidents and injuries.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments
- Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated
Requirements and Core Competencies:
- Data management and organizational skills
- Experience with Medical Billing
- Ability to communicate with people with various levels of medical knowledge in both written and verbal forms
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Computer software proficiency
Requirements:
- Two -three years’ experience in related field
- Medical or pharmacy billing experience
