Job Duties
1. Monitor visitor use at Crow’s Nest NAP; provide visitor use reports to supervisor.
2. Provide on-site presence, manage visitation, and provide interpretation about natural
resources and preserve rules at Crow’s Nest NAP.
3. Help to ensure a balance between resource protection and public use.
4. Promote safe and enjoyable outdoor experiences for visitors and increase public awareness
of NAPs.
5. Assist with trail construction and maintenance.
6. Assist with resource management activities, including invasive species management, plant
and animal surveys, managed deer hunts, GIS data collection.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Graduation from high school and experience with communication, natural history
interpretation, and natural resource management. Ability to communicate with the public
effectively and positively.
2. Valid Driver’s license required
3. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Additional Considerations
1. Significant progress towards a bachelor’s degree in natural sciences, outdoor recreation, or
related field and/or work experience in natural resources management.

Ability to regularly work in diverse conditions including exposure to the outdoors, weather in all seasons, dust, animals and insects.
