The National Pricing Manager will be based in Pleasanton, CA, Boise, Idaho, Plano, Texas, Phoenix, AZ or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, Denver CO, Arlington, TX, Chicago, IL, Boston, MA, or Fullerton, CA).

The position will be hybrid and could be based in any of our division office locations.

What you will be doing

This position presents the opportunity to work in a strategically important and fast-paced analytics team. The Pricing Manager will help establish a National Pricing Function which includes strategic development and guidance; process optimization, data governance and stewardship, tool development and deployment, reporting/analytics/insights; training and change management; he/she will partner closely with the Divisions to ensure the pricing strategy is brought to life both at the National & Division level.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop, construct, and guide enterprise strategic decisions around pricing, sales and profit optimization, data governance, business rules, pricing exceptions, training, and process efficiency for all Divisions, Banners and Stores.
  • Create Pricing Strategies, CPI Targets & Goals, Category & Item Roles, Price Area recommendations, Promotion optimization, and other KPI metrics/reports with clear and concise communication to Division and Senior leadership.
  • Leverage category financial levers including sales, markdowns, funding, and profitability as inputs to our pricing strategy.

The salary range is $94,500.00 to $123,540.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What we are searching

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Category experience recommended
  • 5+ years of Pricing related experience preferred
  • 5+ years of Analytical and, or Financial experience
  • Excellent computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite+
  • Experience with SQL preferred, Snowflake and Python ideal
  • Adept with Business Intelligence tools including report development

Travel Requirements: approximately 30% across all Divisions and geography
