Description:
Under the supervision of the Transportation Director, is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. The daily assignment of this position will be determined by the Transportation Supervisor. Routes may vary. This position may include, but not be limited to, the following performance responsibilities, qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
Employment Conditions:
4 hours/day, 5 days/week, split shift-TBD, 9 months/year
$27.63 to $31.17/hour per PSE 2022-2023 Salary Schedule
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
  3. Valid Washington State Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
  4. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Washington State Class B CDL with passenger, “S” for school bus driver, and air brake endorsements) with valid Washington State Bus Driver certification.
  5. Valid First Aid/CPR with AED certificates.
  6. Provide certification of passing a Department of Transportation physical examination every two (2) years in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and continue to meet this requirement in between exams.
  7. Provide a complete driving abstract from the Washington State Department of Licensing. The driving abstract findings must meet Washington Administrative Code (WAC) requirements.
  8. Blood Borne Pathogen Training, provided at time of hire
