Prerequisites for applicants:
- Enjoy cycling/ proficient mountain biker
- CPR/First Aid certification.*
- Completion of online and in-person training.
- CIT program open for ages 16 and 17
- Counselors MUST acquire a Kingdom Trails Membership
*Not required for CITs
Time commitment:
- You must be available for 2-5 days of camp per week for 6 weeks from late June through early August.
- Camps will run from 9am – 1pm M-F for the 5-day option and M-W for the 3-day camp and M-Tues for the youngsters camp.
- You will also be required to attend an in-person orientation training with your local camp manager.
What the role entails:
- Reporting to the local lead counselor and camp manager.
- Working with another member of the team to run all aspects of camp based on our curriculum, which includes
- Teaching individual skills modules
- Running games
Leading skills application rides
- Assisting the lead counselor at check in every day
- Setting up and cleaning up every day
- Reporting to your lead counselor about any group changes that need to be made
- Ensuring a SAFE and fun environment for all
