Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end to end delivery of a significant national ERP upgrade and modernization for our Federal agency customer. You will provide expertise, guidance, consultation, facilitation, oversight and thought leadership to the client and project team. You will draw on your experiences, and standard processes to guide the team through project success in this multi-year effort.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design and implement project management, governance, oversight, control, communication and execution systems and best practices.
Recruit, retain and develop a cross functional team of experts to complete the project. Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to team members varying in years of experience and skills.
Develop and implement staffing/resource strategies and plans. Coordinate and prioritize resource assignment across local and matrixed teams.
Build, champion, and maintain a successful collaborative team environment.
Lead the project from startup through closeout and each phase of the SDLC.
Deliver the project on time, within budget, meeting all defined objectives.
Develop and maintain a detailed project plan to supervise and track progress.
Establish and carry out effective organizational change controls for scope, schedule and budget.
Develop and deliver executive briefings for both CGI and customer leadership.
Implement effective project risk management procedures.
Establish and be a great partner with our key client customers, as well as third party vendors and partners.
Define key performance indicators and implement measurement and monitoring systems to supervise project performance.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required:

5+ years of project management experience
Experience leading significant projects involving complex enterprise systems and multi-year schedules with dozens of customers and thousands of end users
Experience with Momentum ERP upgrades
Excellent leadership and team development skills;
Timely, critical, and effective problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills; executive level communication experience
Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client facing and client relationship building skills
Bachelor’s Degree
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $119,500 – $230,100.
