Job Description
As an experienced BIM technician you will be involved in a range of small to large projects as part of our transportation team. The role will be challenging and varied.
The key elements of the role are (but not limited to):
- To provide CAD design output for the civil / structural aspects of a project by delivering quality drawings to internal and external clients
- Production and review of drawings using MicroStation, AutoCad and Revit
- Working and liaising with associated engineering disciplines as part of delivering projects
- Producing and maintaining accurate fully coordinated structural models/drawings and details using company standard CAD/BIM systems, processes and procedures
Candidate Specification
Essential requirements to be considered for the role include the following:
- Proficient in the use of MicroStation and AutoCAD
- Minimum 1-5 years’ of experience in MicroStation and AutoCAD design
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of working on Infrastructure
- Revit a plus
- Experience with ProjectWise preferred
- Undertake the delivery of drawing packages within tight deadlines and as part of a multidisciplinary project
- The ability to work from designers/engineers calculations and/or rough sketches/drawings produce accurate and structured drawings suitable for final issue
- Experience in civil engineering structures
- Preferred experience of using Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads
Salary Range: $50,000-$70,000
