Our company is searching for experienced people with the passion and motivation to contribute to innovative, industry-leading projects. You will collaborate with a variety of colleagues across project teams, overseeing the complete life cycle of a renewable energy project, such as project and product development, structured finance, off take agreements, engineering, implementation, and O&M. Blue Sky Utility takes pride in developing renewable energy systems that meet our clients’ needs.
We work with clients in both the public and private sectors, so we prefer candidates who have several years of experience in both areas. For our immediate needs, we are looking for:
1x Project Manager / Licensed Electrician / Foreman
Job Duties:
- Travel up to 30% per year
- Review and manage project plans, project budgets and project schedule
- Identify critical path items and other risks for execution of projects
- Manage change orders and budget of projects
- Perform onsite inspections and direct contractors to ensure compliance with codes, applicable laws, QAQC program and other contract documents.
- Perform safety briefs on site
- Perform site visits
- Review progress reports summarizing the work completed, any issues discovered, and outlook for the coming 3 weeks
- Review single line drawings, other drawings, and sequence of work documents.
- Attend company meetings
- Manage assigned projects from inception to final completion
- Communicate with your manager and team members to keep the project aligned with their goals
- perform other assigned tasks to the best of your abilities
- This position will report to the Senior Vice President of EPC
Requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Licensed Electrician-unlimited license
- Located in or around Northern California
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a licensed electrician at a manager or supervisor level
- Experience with the interconnection of renewable energy systems and PTO inspections preferred
- Exceptional communication skills
- Attention to detail with a desire for excellence
- Previous work experience as electrician
- Previous work experience as project manager

Fair and equitable compensation. There are a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current annual salary range is $96,000-115,000.
