Mechanical Project Manager

C&S Technical Resources is looking for a bright, energetic, and organized individual to support the Mechanical/Project Management team. This person must be able to handle high volume of work in a timely and efficient manner with a keen attention to detail. This individual must possess strong people skills and will interact with our internal management team, subcontractors and vendors.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute RFP’s and up-to-date project information as it is received.
  • Coordinate subcontractor/vendor requests for assigned mechanical projects.
  • Contact subcontractors and vendors to determine bidding status and due dates.
  • Contact subcontractors to track down submittals, COI’s, and executed subcontracts.
  • Effectively and efficiently handle subcontractor requests.
  • Print hard copy plans and specs, organize & label efficiently.
  • Perform accurate, thorough and timely material and labor takeoffs from plans & specs.
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently with the ability to multitask.
  • Purchase & receive in materials to confirm acceptance to PO’s before payment.
  • Obtain clarifications on plans and specifications from PM’s, when necessary.
  • Efficiently track project budgets and costs from start to finish.
  • Develop weekly Project Status Reports to customers.
  • Build effective relations with subcontractors, suppliers, venders and the design team that will reflect and support company core values that meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.

Minimum Education & Experienced Required

Associates degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical/HVAC Construction Technology or 10-years minimum field related experience.

  • Flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Field construction skills preferred.
  • Excellent personal and intellectual skills.
  • Good verbal and written skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work both as a team player and independently.
  • Computer competency; proficient in Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with Procore, Timberline, and Sage a plus.

Estimated Compensation Range: $75,000 – 90,000/year*

*Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
