Job Overview
CECH Marketing Services is currently hiring two (2) Marketing Coordinators. Under general supervision of the Associate Director, Marketing & Publications, this person is responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans, advertisements, promotional and print material, and catalogs and newsletters. This role will assist with content management, website creation and social media strategy development. Responsibilities will also include interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations on marketing opportunities and improvements.
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule with the option of up to 2 remote working days per week upon completion of the training period. Residence must be within the Cincinnati Tri-State area (OH/IN/KY) with reasonable distance to campus to have the ability to report to campus as required. Remote work arrangements are subject to change in accordance with university policies.

Essential Functions
- Develop, coordinate, implement and revise marketing plans and promotional materials.
- Develop customer and department profiles; plan ads and media mix.
- Assess, develop and coordinate public relations campaigns.
- Monitor, track and evaluate results; recommend changes.
- Compile, update and report marketing data related to advertising and marketing programs.
- Assist with the design, layout and writing of print materials.
- Prepare/submit for approval budget and quarterly revision.
- Recommend cost containment proposals where applicable.
- Coordinate/evaluate bidding process regarding advertising and promotional materials.
- Monitor progress/quality of bid packages.
- Ensure student artists meet quality and style work standards.
- Determine program schedules, deadlines, etc.
- Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Education, Graphic Arts, Liberal Arts, Marketing, or related field.
- Five (5) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
One (1) year of experience in development and implementation of marketing and/or advertising plans.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Create content for distribution across multiple channels, including websites, marketing collateral and social media.
- Ability to find and develop stories that represent the authentic experiences of diverse communities.
- Experience in developing a social media strategy and editorial calendar to promote college events and efforts.
- Experience in implementing marketing plans.
- Experience in multimedia (photography and videography).
- Have some understanding of content management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) writing, writing for email campaigns and the creation of college-wide news stories.
- Interpret data, formulate reports, and make recommendations on marketing opportunities and improvements.
- Experience with event planning needs.
- Excellent communication, writing and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and across departments.
- Highly developed attention to detail.
