What you’ll be doing:
- Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Helps in creating/modifying SOJTs taking into consideration of safety, quality and efficiency of the process
- Trains new workers in equipment and assembly operation.
- Work with new hires on the line during the first two week of training.
- Assist in setting up evaluation systems to assess the effectiveness of training initiatives at satisfaction, activity, and outcome levels.
- Maintains and controls employees’ on-the-job training records to ensure skills represent current practices.
- Update and assist in maintaining training matrix
- Ensures that personnel lists for each line are updated according to in-and-out movements and turnover.
- Coordinates with Training & Development Representative to ensure that associates are trained on time based on missing/revision training reports.
- Ensures specifications, GMP’s and GDP’s are followed by utilizing in-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations.
- Update standard operating procedures and Visual Aids as needed.
- Must be able to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Must maintain a safe working area and clean.
- Supports business strategies, including 6S, lean manufacturing and EHS programs by assuring requirements are met in his/her responsibilities area.

Participate and supports PMT’s, strategies and initiatives
What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ related experience
- Training and cleanroom manufacturing experience is a plus
- Prior experience in running cleanroom equipment preferred
- GME/data analysis experience is a plus
- GMP experience is preferred
- To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Ability to read, write and speak fluent English; good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing procedures. Must strive to continuously build knowledge and skills about operations and shares expertise with others. Must understand basic principles of Manufacturing, process flows and waste elimination.
- Interpersonal Skills- Focuses on solving conflict and listen to others, remains open to others ideas and tries new things. Capable of guiding and motivating others.
- Oral communication- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations. Listens and gets clarification. Responds well to questions. Demonstrates group presentations skills. Actively participates in meetings. Able to communicate with leads and supervisors and all other levels within the organization.
- Writing Communication- Writes clearly and informatively. Edits work for spelling and grammar. Presents numerical data effectively. Able to read and interpret written information.
- General knowledge of windows application programs; spreadsheet software, word processing software and specific applications like PRM’s and Assemble and Pack.
- Planning /organizing- Prioritizes and plans work activities. Uses time and resources efficiently. Plans for additional resources, set have and meets goals. Organizes or schedules other people and their task. Develops realistic action plans.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $36,000 to $90,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
