Responsibilities:
- Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in analyzing product development, complex producibility studies and production/tooling philosophies.
- Refine, validate, coordinate and implement conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build.
- Develop manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization.
- Conduct complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Resolve complex technical problems. Serves as a project manager to ensure that contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained.
- Lead advanced design solutions and supports research of new product or business opportunities.
- Deploy company Lean Enterprise analysis methods.
- Document and communicate producibility best practices.
- Provide guidance to others through structured mentoring.
- Review and analyze engineering requirements.
- Author and revise baseline and shop floor work instructions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry combined with 9 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Ability to Obtain Secret Clearance
- GOLDesp iG1 (or similar ME planning tools like MES, CAPP, VELOCITY, OWI).
- CMPro and ENOVIA navigation.
