Job Summary:
- This position is responsible for the brand management of Narciso Rodriguez (NR) and Issey Miyake (IM).
- This position is the champion of the 2 brands within the US market. It is a main priority to understand and establish a proactive approach to all the needs of the 2 brands, and the individual lines within the brands, by taking the initiative to go beyond the day-to-day responsibilities.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identification and implementation of a US specific brand strategy and annual brand plan for NR and IM. Propose optimal brand direction to Director.
- Responsible for brand development, analyses & reporting, initiatives, and recommendations.
- Liaise with field to develop and produce market needs. Analyze all program effectiveness.
- Analyze sales results continuously to ensure that resources are focused on achieving company objectives.
- Forecast both saleable and POSM and oversee the supply chain.
- Responsible for effective communication with the following departments to ensure success of marketing programs: Paris Headquarters, Sales, Finance, Public Relations, Training.
- Manage marketing budgets and monitor spending on a monthly basis.
- Oversee development and implementation of seasonal retailer presentations.
- Execute all tasks related to media production (asset routing and release).
- Ensure proper brand image in-store, print, and R.com. Ensure marketing concepts are implemented as directed.
- In charge of special event conceptualization, development and execution.
- Annual sales meeting leadership & preparation.
- Special projects as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities
- Responsible for optimizing brand growth in the US market, while ensuring global image, standards and direction is upheld.
- Design business strategies locally to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with Paris Headquarters office to develop marketing plans and support tools that meet the needs of the US market.
- This position contributes to the achievement of gross & retail sales for the brands via the annual business plan development, marketing strategies, and seasonal programs.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a concentration in Marketing.
- Minimum of five years of beauty related experience, preferably in high-end luxury arena.
- Extensive knowledge of the US fragrance luxury environment.
- A proactive individual, who takes the initiative on new projects, offers new ideas and follows through with implementation in all cases.
- Strong presence coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills to get things done with cross-functional teams.
- Strong multi-tasking, planning/organizing, analytical & problem-solving skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet fluctuating deadlines, and easily adapts to change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, an obsession with accuracy, and takes pride in all things produced.
- French written & spoken is a plus.
- PC excellence in all applications – especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- A good sense of humor with an enthusiasm and a strong passion for the business is a definite plus.

Salary (Min-Max): $93,480.00 – $128,535.00
