We are looking for a Talent Management leader to design and deliver programs including evaluation and enablement of individual and team performance, high potential identification, succession planning, leadership development for key talent/critical roles, and career development for all employees at Lucid. This person will develop simple and scalable approaches with measurable impact to address the needs of a rapidly growing organization.
You Will:
- Own lifecycle of the formal and informal performance evaluation and enablement strategy and process for our exempt and non-exempt workforce, including communication, tools, templates, and training for goal setting, ongoing feedback, formal/informal reviews, and performance calibration
- Design solutions in partnership with senior leaders to interpret and mobilize business strategies that culminate in organizational capabilities
- Build strategies that enable recognition of performance in partnership with Total Rewards
- Create and execute a leadership and high potential assessment and development strategy to identify potential successors for key roles and develop plans to prepare them for future responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of a global career development strategy for employees to manage their careers at Lucid, including the creation of career frameworks, experience maps, etc. for growth in current role and preparedness for future opportunities
- Work closely with the Head of Talent Management, VP of People, other senior leaders and HR partners to ensure we have diverse pipeline of talent ready for their next role within the organization
- Work closely with the People team to identify and implement appropriate tools and technology to streamline talent programs for performance, career mobility, and talent planning
- Lead a team of individual contributors and manage their performance, growth and development
- Other duties as assigned
You Bring:
- 8+ years of professional experience with 5+ years of domain experience in conceiving and implementing effective talent programs related to performance evaluation, career development, high potential identification, succession planning, and executive development
- Proven experience in building and leading a people team
- Agility and sense of urgency – ability to take initiative without being asked, act promptly with intention and get stuff done efficiently and effectively
- Program management – experience and expertise in building, managing and scaling complex programs that involve significant change management, high-profile outcomes and multiple organizational partners
- Communication – strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt communication style and content to the audience; ability to influence without authority; experience working with different executive and leadership levels
- Collaboration – build relationships, manage partner expectations, and influence employees across all levels of the company; excellent team player where no task is too small; can work highly independently, with a constant eye for collaboration and knowing when to seek approval
- Judgment and problem-solving – ability to develop quick turn-around, practical recommendations based on data and research to inform strategic decisions in a fast-moving environment; proven expertise in translating data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure impact
- Adaptability and resilience – ability to move quickly and be resilient when things are ambiguous; take ownership and accountability to drive change, see results, and make things happen
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $130,000 – 180,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
