Software Engineer

Job Description

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work with senior traders and desk heads in delivering new technology to the trading desk. Analyze software requirements from US senior traders and desk heads to build new features for the trading platforms. Responsible for engineering the Order and Execution management systems with a specific focus on the US equities trading team. Provide ongoing support for the software platforms used by the US trading desk. Lead incident resolution and escalation. Drive delivery of new system features to the trading desks. Provide ongoing coaching in software engineering and career development for the US based software engineering team for equities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior Development Officer, Consultant (IT), or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Senior Development Officer, Consultant (IT), or related occupation.

Full-Time. Salary: $215,000.00-$325,000.00 per year.
