We are currently seeking a Serviceability Manager. This position requires an experienced professional with a strong background in Automotive Service and Service Engineering.
The Role
- Collaborate with Engineering and Design to drive efforts for Serviceability (DFS)
- Aide in the development of tools and technical service processes
- Become an embedded part of Beta Build, becoming a technical expert and advising on real-world serviceability impacts and repair procedures
- Provide planning inputs to service leadership and data analytics
- Team with technical training to create technician training material and publications
- Partner with technical training and publications lead to validate and refine service procedures, tooling, and repair times
- Build & manage a high-impact team of Technicians that will collaborate with many teams throughout the company.

Qualifications
- Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 10 years of automotive service engineering and operations experience
- System knowledge of CAD, Catia, 3dExp
- Ability to organize and drive continuous improvement
- Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and vendors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience maintaining product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
- Experience with driving processes, procedures, and improving workflow
- Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes
Advantageous
- Startup experience focused on early service program development
- OEM Certified Master Technician
- EPA 609 Certification
- OEM Specific Technician Training
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education, and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $138,000-198,000 per year
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
