A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The Security Assurance Manager spends their time deep diving into key processes and technical controls with stakeholders. They’ll focus on researching and clarifying where our stakeholders are spending their time and identifying solutions to reduce either the time spent or design better technical controls to reduce risk. Additionally, this person over the course of the year will drive or support the following processes:
-Ensure GRC tools and internal processes support our enterprise risk and compliance objectives
-Support any security-related requests as the technical expert for external due diligence and audits
-Be the security decision-maker for the organization around third party risk management
-Help shape and prioritize Enterprise GRC processes or reporting as a technical and security subject matter expert

WHAT WE’LL TRUST YOU TO DELIVER:
- Partner with subject matter experts across the organization to identify and remediate pain points around ensuring Amount’s technical controls
- Design and deploy automated scripts and functions to collect, and when applicable, test evidence for priority technical controls to increase efficiency
- Drive and support key Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) processes as a technical stakeholder and decision-maker
- Ensure the technical accuracy of how we position the security of Amount’s SaaS platforms and the supporting controls to our Clients and Partners as part of the due diligence and contracting process
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 2-3 years of experience of designing and supporting the implementation of technical controls for Software as a service (SaaS) platforms
- 2+ years of experience with GRC processes, platforms, and tools as both an administrator and key stakeholder
- Direct experience leveraging scripting languages (Python, Go, etc.) and working with APIs both internal and externally managed. Preference for experience and projects to automate evidence collection and/or testing of technical controls
- Strong understanding and the ability to speak to the intention of controls for key compliance frameworks, for example, SOC, PCI, NIST CSF, ISO 27001
- Passion for building and automating processes so that stakeholders spend less time checking boxes and more time reducing risk to the organization
