Position Description – Relocation may be available

Drives implementation of best in class maintenance program across a network of manufacturing plants, ensuring the adoption and consistency of preventative, and predictive maintenance throughout the division, by leveraging the Business Operations Excellence(BOE) Methodology. This will include facilitation of standardized BOE routines/metrics and consistent/constant collaboration with HQ Engineering and Plant Operations to ensure maintenance wellness programs are fully executed as scheduled, and maintenance programs properly capture scheduled maintenance to maintain the equipment in a reliable state. Best practice sharing within the division will be critical.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Implementation of a world class, predictive, preventative maintenance program across a network of manufacturing plants leveraging the BOE to create and drive successful plant maintenance day model.
  • Facilitate the adoption of best practices, lean tools, and engineered solutions, as they relate to building and sustaining best in class maintenance program.
  • Define and improve maintenance day standards leveraging the BOE methodology creating best in class process.
  • Through the BOE Model understanding, identify key maintenance metrics and facilitate 100% execution and compliance.
  • Review of proposed new equipment designs with engineering and operations.
  • Support Equipment Reliability Teams.
  • Ensure equipment trials are documented, tracked and then implemented across the network.
  • Review Plant Performance Maintenance KPIs and help drive actions with plants.
  • Manage and guide the initiative to develop the maintenance planning coordinator role in all plants.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality or Management or equivalent work related experience.
  • 5 years of experience in computerized maintenance systems
  • 5 years of experience in planning, organizing, and directing others in a manufacturing environment
  • 3 years of Lean or Continuous Process Improvement experience
  • Experience in business case preparation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Significant experience with Ball equipment maintenance processes
  • Acute knowledge Global Minimum Maintenance Standards implantation in JD Edwards.
  • Thorough knowledge of JDE Maintenance system.
  • Knowledge of aluminum beverage container manufacturing nomenclature
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and proprietary information in a confidential manner
  • Must follow company policies, procedures, practices

Compensation & Benefits

– Hiring Salary Range: $103,000-157,205 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
