Currently we’re looking for a Manager of Legal and Collection Department.
Responsibilities:
- Organization of all legal documents, maintain charts, spreadsheets, files, and status trackers.
- Manage the repossession and collection teams, create daily routes, assign tasks, and optimize team efficiency.
- Implement new and improve the efficiency of existing payment policies and/or bicycle return processes.
- Oversee the investigation of customer risk and improve the verification process.
- Design and implement processes to improve cash flow and reduce the risk of delinquent customers which will result in systematically reduction of delinquency percentage.
- Interact with law enforcement and judicial authorities regarding flagged customers.
- Negotiate and settle claims/lawsuits directly with lawyers and collection agencies on behalf of the company.
- Form a customer scoring system to assess their reliability.
- Develop and administer bike repossession and collection processes.
- Create and exceed KPI metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Oversee the onboarding and participate in final interviews of new hires, provide training to the team.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on department efficiency and results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of collections and/or law firm experience.
- 2+ years of management experience.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multitask.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop and organize department processes.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and to strict deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year + KPIs + stock options
Work hours: from 9.00 am till 5.00 pm EST.
