If you want to position yourself in a highly impactful team that will help drive growth in key business areas for Walmart Fulfillment Services, this is the right team for you.

The Manager II, Advanced Analytics is a tactical role that will add value through strategic insights to help drive the success of the sellers on the WFS platform. Among other things, you will be responsible for bringing visibility to key seller performance, determine the right analytics strategies to implement & measure the impact of ongoing seller initiatives, develop reporting to track the key success metrics, conduct in depth analyses on seller & SKU trends, as well as partner with analytics leadership to help uncover impactful insights from relevant areas of the business. The right candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in a startup environment. This role is built for a creative problem solver with strong analytics, and data modeling skills. Communication and data storytelling will also be a crucial part of this role as you will work with Senior Leadership and cross functional stakeholders. This role is remote, so ability to proactively communicate and collaborate by building digital stakeholder relationships is key for success.

  • You are a creative problem solver: You are someone who can operate with minimal direction once you get settled in. Constantly monitoring the business and identifying opportunities and proposing solutions. You will ask the right questions and think about how to creatively solve the problem with limited resources available. Knowing when to trade off long term outlook for short term wins and vice versa as well as prioritizing speed over perfection to enable business decisions.
  • You are comfortable with model development: W ith super strong analytics / data science background and a deep understanding of retail analytics, you will build and manage parts of the development and implementation of data models to devise analytical solutions to business problem. Focusing on cross functional projects within a business area to help drive proof of concept / prototype, implement algorithms, and track and improve performance through continuous improvements.
  • You love data storytelling: You can tease through data to identify trends and patterns and h elp prepare and deliver simple yet compelling data driven insights to communicate analytical stories to cross-functional partners (e.g., business operations, product) to gain buy-in and be able to represent key visual trends through reporting in tableau or looker.
  • You are a champion collaborator : You help identify use cases through cross-functional collaborations across the organization and influence partners through strategic insights (e.g., seller support, supply chain operation, inventory management). You partner with senior leadership to develop and drive data driven strategies and drive your roadmap based on current and future needs of stakeholders.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Owning complex projects end-to-end for a business area, category or prototype.
  • Managing risk associated with implementation.
  • Developing data models (algorithms, approaches) for complex projects within a business area or category to drive business results and value.
  • Adding visibility to key trends through weekly reporting in business review meetings.
  • Collaborating with project team to implement analytical solutions.
  • Developing and executing advanced analytics solutions to address unique business and technical problems, and supporting data-driven decision making.
  • Making strategic recommendations to cross-functional leadership based on analysis results.
  • Partnering with senior leadership in Analytics to develop and implement data analysis strategies and anticipate future trends and analysis.

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

– Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

– Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications…
