What this position entails
Offering tremendous ROI, the Milliman IntelliScript Irix™ rules engine provides our clients with intelligent analysis of prescription histories and other medical data. Irix enables life and health insurance underwriters to make better decisions by generating comprehensive, customized reports that reduce the time needed for risk analysis.
Reporting to the Director, Identified Client Implementations, the Manager, Identified Technical Operations will have significant operations leadership responsibility, visibility, and collaboration across the organization. What you’ll be doing
- Lead technical identified operations – manage work, people, processes, and measures
- Lead people well – effectively develop people and talents to achieve results
- Ensure timely and high-quality implementation of changes and release deliverables
- Serve as an escalation point for team and move issues to resolution quickly
- Oversee and work to improve processes and team effectiveness – measure and manage to service, quality, and productivity results
- Participate in review and provide technical signoff on client changes and release documentation
- Consult on Operations subject matter expertise and participate in and guide better cross functional business understanding of processes
- Drive ad-hoc projects and/or initiatives as needed
What we need
- 5+ more years of professional experience
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Familiarity with Excel: pivot tables, complex formulas, importing/exporting data from various sources, macros, etc.
- Strong communication across mediums (phone, email, video for screen-sharing, in person)
- High degree of understanding complex, technical processes and managing them well

Location
This position will be based out of the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI; however, this position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI as needed.
The salary range is $80,000 to $140,000, depending on a combination of factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. If relevant experience is less than 5 years the range would be $80,000 to $125,000; for experience of greater than 5 years, the range would be $85,000 to $140,000. In addition, we offer a performance-based bonus plan, profit sharing, and generous benefits.
