Overview
The Custodial Manager is responsible for ensuring the facility meets or exceeds standards of cleanliness to the utmost in guest satisfaction before, during, and after all events. The Custodial Manager must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities as well as be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
This role will pay a wage of $55,000 to $60,000.

Responsibilities
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility operations with a focus on housekeeping
- Ability to work flexible schedules and demanding hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Ability to schedule and supervise part-time employees based on the needs of the building.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize quickly
- Ability to communicate verbal instructions and read written instructions especially as relates to cleaning products and SDS
- Ability to instruct light and heavy cleaning tasks including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, locker rooms, etc., sweeping, mopping, and disposing of garbage.
- Monitor the restocking and ordering of restroom supplies and trash removal
- Assist in the training, coaching, and supervision of part-time custodians
- All other tasks assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualifications
- 3 years cleaning or event related experience required
- High school diploma required. College degree preferred.
- Prior lead or supervisory responsibilities preferred
- Proficient with general office PC applications
- Basic understanding of how to use cleaning equipment
- Ability to operate scrubbers, buffers, carpet extractors, etc.
- Must be proactive self-starters able to work autonomously
- Basic understanding of SDS and PPE
