Too Faced is looking for a dynamic Manager, Global Creative Operations packaging & VM to join our creative family in Irvine, Ca. This role is responsible for managing Too Faced Cosmetics global packaging for all saleable products, gifts with purchase and branded collateral and all VM executions for North America and our International regions. The Manager, Global Creative Operations Packaging & VM is a problem solver that knows every detail of a project, from the overarching strategy to the specific details, and is proficient in the project management fundamentals: timeline, scope and budget. This role requires a clear understanding of creative resourcing and project deadlines with the ability to shift and balance priorities based on volume of work and business priorities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, can manage multiple projects and timelines and enjoys working in a creative environment. Reporting to the Executive Director, Creative Operations, this person is responsible for establishing, facilitating and maintaining workflow and communication between Creative and Product Marketing, North America Marketing, NPL and other cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Project manage packaging concepting, development and artwork delivery with Director of Packaging Design, Director of Visual Merchandising and Manager Visual Merchandising Design.
- Align project scope with Product Marketing, Packaging Development, Product Marketing and Regional partners.
- Oversee each phase of the internal and external approval process: including the approval of concepts, copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples.
- Keep projects on track through clear timelines, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes
- Allocate resources weekly and coordinate with other Creative Operations team members in prioritizing projects
- Lead meetings and web calls, and effectively set up the presentation of creative work
- Communicate project issues and resolution to internal stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in project management for an in-house creative team or agency.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Prior experience working on Campaign / Packaging / Visual Merchandising Project Management
- Prior experience managing Campaign Projects (Broadcast, Digital, Print)
- Has experience with Wrike/Workfront or equivalent project management tools
- Is a true partner to both creative and marketing
- Comfortable presenting creative work to senior leadership and running high level meetings
- Has a flexible attitude and can work in ambiguous situations
- Knows how to develop contracts and Statements of Work
- Is used to being the point person for internal or external clients
- Is a natural leader with excellent communication skills
- Loves solving problems and managing conflicts with a solutions first approach
- Is comfortable managing technical/functional complex work.
- Has a deep understanding of project management, work flow and infrastructure
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
