This individual plays a key role managing all direct to consumer/commercial, electric vehicle loan and lease program rollouts, nationwide. This role will have strategic responsibility in the rollout of new F&I programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

    • Development of customized electric vehicle loan and lease fleet programs with banking partners
    • Execution and ongoing development of relationships with consumer banking institutions and financial services partners, analyzing cost, pricing, assumptions, and profit
    • Prepare and design complex pricing and cost models for various sales incentive programs related to direct to consumer business model, as well as monitoring and reporting on performance of implemented programs
    • Design the full life cycle fleet leasing programs for corporate customers that encompass acquisition, usage, remarketing, and ordering of new vehicles
    • Ongoing interaction/collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Legal, and IT teams to develop, implement, and measure performance of vehicle financing and lease programs and their impact on sales
    • SalesForce development for measuring and tracking program rollouts included, but not limited to incentives, new partnerships, and F&I products
    • F&I team reporting build out – Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI, and other integrated systems
    • Build and develop finance tools and programs to effectively drive sales
    • Partner with sales leaders to ensure workflows, reporting and systems support funnel optimization and conversion
    • Support fleet teams with commercial finance program that enable strategic partnerships and programs for commercial applications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline
    • 8 years of progressive work experience in vehicle (consumer and fleet) credit, lending, and leasing programs with at least 3-5 years working in a leadership role
    • Experience cultivating relationships with financial service partners, banking institutions, and corporate customers
    • Experience with electric vehicles preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to create financing and lease products that enhance the customer purchasing process, with strong understanding of the retail customer buying experience, and technology that streamlines, facilitates, and expedites the purchasing process
    • Knowledge of fleet leasing and ability to expand this segment of company volume
    • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with US executive leadership, internal stakeholders, peers, and external partners.
    • Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
    • Executive presence, confidence, and enthusiastic attitude
    • Creative problem solver; not afraid to think outside the box

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
• California (Bay Area) – $131,000 – $187,000

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
