Manager, Commerce Investment

Overview:

Our Commerce team is critical in driving sales for our brands across retailers. We are an integral part in capturing a client’s vision to reach the intended audience and driving sales volume.

Your Impact:

Work with Commerce team on plan development and recommendation development, including:

  • Partnering with the Associate Director and leading your Sr. Associate in the development of retail focused Commerce media plans, including flighting, volume planning, impression and investment forecasting
  • Becoming an expert in the Commerce media landscape, retail ecosystem, shopper behavior, and the rapidly growing eGrocery landscape
  • Implementing, activating and monitoring digital buys/schedules, and optimizing campaign
  • Optimizing and tracking to performance KPIs, including (but not limited to) ROAS (return on ad spend), iROAS (incremental return on ad spend), new to brand percentage, conversion rate
  • Understanding basic & advanced methodology and data behind 3rd party research tools and run the needed reports to assist in the media recommendation development
  • Gathering, analyzing, and disseminating data to provide sound, strategic, consumer-insights driven media recommendations
  • Delivering POVs/position papers on key client issues and/or client opportunities
  • Making appropriate recommendations for the maintenance or growth of the digital media plan based on client activity
  • Seeking client approval of plans and recommendation on a timely basis
  • Researching incremental opportunities for client advertising
  • Ensuring proper execution of digital communication plans
  • Maintaining accurate budget control and flow of media activity, and proactively, consistently update client contact(s) through periodic analyses and projection reports
  • Compiling monthly digital reconciliation against actuals for billing
  • Working in Prisma and Mediaocean as needed
  • Preparing media authorizations per approved plans/project requests
  • Maintaining certain aspects of client billing and budgeting process
  • Maintaining the accuracy of planning costs / rates
  • Supervise Senior Associates and Associates to ensure accurate and timely vendor invoice approval and reconciliation with Finance teams to:
    • Manage client financials such as budget reconciliation and budget management

Your Qualifications:

  • Media Investment or Activation experience
  • Experience in Amazon, Walmart, Kroger, or Retail Media is a plus
  • Experience managing or training junior talent
  • Project/workload management experience (comfortable overseeing up to 50 campaigns)
  • Coachable, able to learn and adapt
  • Comfortable with data, data driven (understands insights and complexity)
  • Performance based comfort – understanding lower funnel, direct response objectives and KPIs (ROAS, store visits, conversions, leads, purchases, etc.)
  • Understanding and experience with audience and data strategies
  • Client management – normally presents to clients, currently owns a client status (for example)
  • Experience – 3+ years

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $60,000 to $140,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
