Mailing Assistant

Description

The Mailing Assistant will play an important role in assisting our Print and Fulfillment Center to meet print and mailing deadlines for large, seasonal or one-time projects. This person will assist with keeping the printing and mailing machines stocked with appropriate supplies and with assembling envelope packages to be delivered for mass mailing.

What You Will Do

  • Assist Fulfillment Center staff to maintain appropriate paper supplies in each printer to assure continuity of print process.
  • Assemble kits of print materials within appropriate envelopes, making sure each packet is complete and in order.
  • Assist with running the mailing and postage machine, as requested.
  • Assist with other production and assembly projects within the Fulfillment Center, as requested.
  • Position may require up to 40 hours per week; position will not guarantee a minimum number of hours per week; temporary seasonal work may apply through December 2023.

Professional Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • No prior work experience required.

Personal Qualifications

  • Attention to detail to assure correct assembly of kits.
  • 75-80% of work hours may involve walking or standing.
  • Ability to understand and follow precise directions.
  • Able to effectively multi-task.
  • Able to work with time-sensitive material and meet multiple deadlines.

The Team

Location

This position is based out of the Milliman office in Tualatin, OR. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite up to 40 hours per week.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, etc. Overtime beyond 40 hours per week would be paid at time and a half.
