If yes, join Tecton, a member of the Marvin Family of Companies, as an Extrusion Machine Operator. At Tecton, we design and manufacture innovative pultruded fiberglass composite materials, superior to the industry.
In this role, you coordinate all aspects of extrusion including, but not limited to, handling raw materials, producing parts on the production line, and prepping finished goods for shipment.
Essential Functions:
- Perform quality checks on products being produced
- Perform accurate set-up and shut-down procedures
- Setup, teardown, clean up, and safe handling of tooling
- Identify, stage, and prep raw materials for orders
- Troubleshoot and correct defects
- Monitor the process through documentation of processing variables
- Use a forklift as needed to move raw materials and/or finished goods within the plant
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other duties as identified by the schedule load
Schedule:
Monday- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM
Initial training will occur on Day shift for approx. 2-4 weeks.
Pay:
Base pay- $20.00/ hour + $2.00 Night shift premium
Pay for experience considered

- High school degree or GED
- Demonstrates effective communication and social skills
- Proven organizational skills are vital for success
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Desire and ability to learn and work with new technology is required
- Forklift certification or the ability to acquire certification is required
