Machine Maintenance III

2nd shift: Monday – Friday 2:45pm to 11pm

Your Role:

In this role, you will work in the Machining Department, you will provide technical support on increasingly complex multifaceted CNC Equipment!Your strong analytical skills will allow you to resolve machine issues and perform real-time trouble shooting to resolve causes and recommend actions!

What You’ll Be Doing:
-With electro/mechanical expertise, this will aid you in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing malfunctions in Machines and components plus production equipment.

-Solving electrical problems, including repairing of components, equipment, and procedures will be essential. Supporting continuous improvement efforts along with 5s.

-This role will be involved in development of PMs methods, procedures and inspection requirements for equipment, as well as preventative maintenance and assist with floor support.

-Through establishing internal relationships with Engineering and Setup/Operators, you will exchange information, resolve real time issues, and help address longer term problems.

-Assist in the planning process for test and prototype design and/or have responsibility for complete projects in areas of your technical expertise.

-As a collaborative teammate, you will be capable of receiving initial instructions, equipment requirements, and advice from your production group leader, supervisor, manager or engineering.

-A crucial aspect of this position will be applying lean manufacturing and six sigma improvement processes to all projects and assignments.

What You’ll Bring:
-Associates Degree, Electrical Technology preferred.
-2 to 4 years of experience in machine repair or related field.
-Shown knowledge of relative tools and measuring devices such as multi-meters, calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.
-Ability to read/build spreadsheets, etc.
-Ability to interact across departments, including external suppliers and services and are able to adapt to an evolving work environment.
-Ability to lift 40 lbs. Be on your feet 80%-90% of the time.
-Ability to work overtime as needed.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a salary range of $36,000 to $90,000. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
