Job Responsibilities
As the Learning and Development Manager you will manage the design and development of new hire training materials and content to support new initiatives. Additionally, you will have the responsibility of managing content updates and the maintenance of Arvato’s internal knowledge base, on-going learning content for migration training and new hire training materials. In this role, you will be required to perform all tasks in observance of Arvato’s brand and strategy while adhering to our Operating Principles and Customer Service standards.
The Learning and Development Manager will manage full training programs in our PeopleNet HRIS as well as work with site leaders on local and site wide training initiatives, including leadership training. As the L&D Manager you will regularly conduct training audits of programs to ensure compliance with federal, state and client requirements. You will also coordinate the rollout of all Germany based programs to our US sites and partners.
- Responsible for and shape our global talent management process, develop tools for personnel assessment and talent retention and thus control the selection for personnel development programs internally and at a group level.
- Create transparency about internal talents and ensure sustainable succession planning.
- Quickly become the expert on all HR development issues for your HR colleagues and design and implement target group-specific HR development programs and tools.
- Create a mix of your own, internal and external HR development activities and support initiatives in talent recruitment or university marketing in cross- sectional role.
- Responsible for and accompany the implementation of our existing international PE programs and develop them further in line with requirements.
Salary range: $100,000 – 110,000
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training or related field
- 5 years’ experience in developing and managing training
- 5 years’ experience in project/program management
Technical Skills or Abilities
- Ability to translate business needs into strategic initiatives and drive them to successful outcomes
- Well-versed in training, talent and development subject matter
- Strong experience in all Microsoft office products and training technology platforms
- Ability to be flexible to business needs and adjust/compromise plans as needed
Physical Requirements
- Sit for extended periods of time with in an office environment.
- Stand/walk within an warehouse environment on an as needed basis.
