Leads continuous improvement projects. Demonstrates and contributes to projects as a black belt. Manages change management during projects. Performs all responsibilities as a continuous improvement contributor. Utilizes lean and black belt knowledge, principles, and analysis to make recommendations or provide solutions. Supports the development of the Lean Academy to develop the framework and structure to grow and improve the continuous improvement process and capabilities.
- Annual Salary Range: $100,000 to $115,000 based on qualifications and experience.
- Bonus: This role is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 15% of your base annual salary.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the organization to develop and refine the continuous improvement vision and strategy for integration of continuous process improvement, Lean and Six Sigma practices into the day-to-day operations.
- Communicate and influence strategy and action across multiple levels of the organization.
- Own and drive the continuous process improvement projects for the organization – identify, source, and prioritize improvement ideas.
- Execute complex improvement initiatives across matrixed and cross-functional businesses and teams; own and deliver on multiple initiatives.
- Develop standard work and procedures that are integrated with industry-standards and drive best practice sharing across the organization.
- Serve as a key, strategic thought partner for the leadership teams, including Foodservice and Grocery leaders and Regional Vice Presidents and other leaders.
- Assist with the launch of a Lean Academy for the organization to build future black and green belts that are proficient in Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Support green belt teammates and provide support for multiple green belts.
- Set improvement targets, track progress, and hold teams accountable for successful delivery of continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Build knowledge and expertise in warehouse lean six sigma methodologies and radiate knowledge internally and externally.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives, lean six sigma transformations, with demonstrated success and financial results, in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Technical mastery of Lean six sigma tools and methodologies
- Ability to organize, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently to evaluate priorities and pivot as needed to meet team and business goals.
- Ability to work and communicate within organization at all levels including leadership.
- Demonstrated capabilities to run fact-based, quantitative analytics; clear communication of relevant information to multiple audience levels; presentation capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of the interaction between finance and operations
- Ability to link operational performance with clear financial metrics and data.
- Strong Microsoft suite skills
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Office environment.
- Ability to travel up to 60-80%
